The launch into full-time missionary work.
8/28/2024

As I sit on the final flight upon my arrival to Guatemala, I reflect on the change of a season. The months leading up to this were extra cherished because I knew it would not be here much longer. New perspective and gratitude for all the Lord has done and will do. I have awaited this day, August 28th 2024, since I could retain memory. I never knew when or where, but I knew it was only a matter of time. I am humbled as I experience God carry out the desire he instilled in me as a child; to GO and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
God's Will over each one of our lives will never be fully understood because only He can see the full picture He has painted. It is like a spider web, everything is connected and there for a purpose. The amount of cross references in my life leaves me speechless. At the age of 10, I interviewed Amanda Julliard, who was a missionary in Antigua Guatemala from 2015-2020. I was in awe at the work the Lord was able to accomplish through her. She went to my church, we got to call a few times, she was like a celebrity to me! I wanted to be just like her. Now, she is on my team for my ministry in Guatemala!! I would say that little me would have been speechless but I myself lack proper words.

My grandmother and two of my sisters also did medical mission trips to Antigua Guatemala for many years. Again, I just watched in awe as I dreampt of the day that it would be me on that plane. God has been so intentional with every detail in my life, he uses it all, whether we see it or not. Most of the time we don't see it until we're looking back at experiences and memories...
