PROGRAMS
We offer intentional technique and discipleship classes, combining dance, scripture, and emotional healing, while also providing transportation, a meal program to support nutrition, and assistance from women employed through Manna Ministries' vocational sewing school.

Dance Classes
and Attire
We work with three different groups of students Tuesday through Thursday after school for intentional technique classes. Each group has a one and a half hour class per week, and the curriculum can be adjusted based on the students' needs through observation and feedback. The goal of these technique classes is for students to learn how to tell a story and release trauma through movement. The classes incorporate intentional breathing and teach students how to dance scripture out to support storytelling and emotional release. There is typically a weekly or monthly theme that aligns with the discipleship class, introduced through discussion focusing on both how it relates to the students' lives and the scripture itself. In addition, we offer open worship classes to the whole school on Mondays and Fridays.

Discipleship and Mentorship
After each dance class, students engage in an hour and a half of discipleship, where they dive deep into scripture to understand how to apply it in their lives. Each discipleship session begins with prayer and scripture reading, followed by small group discussions. The discussions focus on both the historical context and personal application of the scripture, and often lead to deep personal revelations or connections. Students reflect on their own stories and share insights, which are then connected to the scripture being studied. The discipleship program helps students feel loved and empowered, creating a safe space where they can heal from trauma and be encouraged to grow. This emotional and spiritual support is further amplified by investing in the students outside of the classroom.

Program
Assists
Two women are employed through Manna Ministries' vocational sewing school. These women, who come from traumatic backgrounds, are given both community and the opportunity to learn a trade through the sewing program. Due to the large number of students, their help is vital for class preparation, assisting during classes, and clean-up. In addition to their support in the classroom, they will receive special training and mentorship to help them grow in their roles and skills.

Additional Meals
The meal program provides a community dinner once a month, with the long-term goal of offering dinner every night. Two chefs are employed to prepare nutritious meals for the students, many of whom are affected by malnutrition. Most of the students receive their food at school, and the additional meal aims to ensure they have more energy to focus on their studies and activities. By addressing nutritional needs, the program supports the students’ overall well-being and helps create a stronger sense of community.

Transportation
The transportation program ensures that students are safely transported home after classes. It employs one driver and a co-driver to assist with transportation. The program covers the cost of gas, and the buses are provided by Manna Ministries. This initiative prioritizes student safety and accessibility, making sure all students have a reliable way to get home after their classes.
